One is through the distribution of our materials to the more than 100,000 volunteers visiting in the prisons and jails in this country and the 450 independent prison ministries that are committed to work in the prisons. The other is to minister directly to prisoners through The Christian Inmate News, which is distributed in jails and prisons throughout the country. The gospel is brought directly to prisoners along with an offer to write to Core for free materials that will will encourage and help them live successful Christian lives in prison and after they are released (98% will be released). The cost of mailing a copy of The Christian Inmate News into a jail or prison is $.25, a great value.
